PERFECT DAY

You all know by now I love myself a culotte. Neoprene, wrap front, awkward length, I just love them! Over the past few season I must have acquired roughly about 7 pairs, this Lavish Alice pair being my newest addition (I also have these in white for SS!) I've paired my "perfect day" pointed courts with this look to give this ensemble a stand out pop of colour.

THE MAXI CARDI

There is nothing I love more than wearing black, what girl doesn't? Adding a pop of colour in form of an accessory is the easiest way to perk up the darkest of outfits. Instead of a brightly coloured heeled sandal or pastel shopper I've gone with knitwear and tied this beautiful blue Gestuz maxi cardigan around my waist to break up the colour.

The buckled leather jacket and silver zips on the ankle boots perfectly polish off this edgy look

TAILORING WITH MISSGUIDED

If you know anything about me then you will know that I love my tailoring. Whether it be a chic contrast lapel waistcoat or a structured pair of black culottes I just can't help but reach for a tailored ensemble. I've taken a leaf out of Olivia Palmero's book and belted a waterfall jacket at the waist to give this look a bit of definition. Rather than popping on a typical-me midi skirt I opted for a lace over lay pencil skirt which compliments my statement fluffy heel perfectly. So Carrie Bradshaw it hurts!

HALLOWEEN, THE FASHIONABLE WAY

Shop This Look:

Halloween doesn't have to be all pumpkins and fancy dress. When Topshop contacted me and asked whether I wanted to put a fashionable spin on Halloween I jumped at the chance. I've swapped face paints and spooky costumes for knee high boots, 90's chockers and satin thigh slit maxi dresses. Okay Okay so I'm not scary, but who says you have to ditch the trends in favour for a day of trick-or-treating?

COLOUR BLOCKING WITH FAUX FUR

Ever since I laid eyes on the Charlotte Simone popsicle stole, I knew from then on I needed some sort of multi coloured faux fur in my wardrobe. I've got a thing for scarfs at the moment, can you tell? (You can see my latest Topshop edition, here.) Since living in my knitted Zara two piece for the majority of September I thought it was about time I introduced another ribbed medium to my life. Say hello to my new ribbed midi purchase!

LIGHT ATTIRE IN AUTUMN WINTER

Wearing light colours is something I rarely dwell into #livingdangerously. I can't help but just sway towards black and every general dark colour way for that matter. Never the less, whites and creams work insanely well together. (In my opinion) especially when worn with different tones and textures. I've made the outfit slightly more Season appropriate by popping on a gold block heeled mule, my favourite!

OVERSIZED BLANKET SCARF

All back, an attire I will never get tired of. Pop on a couple of stand out accessories and you've got yourself a killer outfit. These Wallis asymmetric heels scream Jimmy Choo, they are such a lovely take on the classic court shoe and always get a massive amount of attention whenever I take them out for a spin. I'm not usually one for colour but I couldn't help but be drawn to the colour way of this oversized blanket scarf, the perfect addition to my camel coat.
