PREMIUM BOILED WOOL JACKET

If you think It's too early to be discussing Autumn Winter then I beg to differ, especially after this monsoon style rain we've experienced this week. When I look to purchase on trend items for the upcoming season I head straight to Topshop's "New In' page. With multiple products dropping daily it's not hard to see why Topshop is one of the biggest names on the high street.

This Premium Boiled Wool Jacket is my first seasonal piece of the year and it's a great transitional item as it doubles up as a jacket as well as a cosy knit. (To give the outfit a different look try taking off the belt to turn the jacket into a jumper!) I've paired the jacket with these vintage wash Hayden Boyfriend Jeans and rolled up the hem to show off the uh-mazing cream Master Tortoiseshell Heel Boots which also come in Black, here.

STYLING WHITE DENIM FLARES

It is not often you'll see me in a pair of white bottoms or even white jeans for that matter. I'm either; way too conscious I'm going to spill everything and anything down myself, or way too self conscious you can see everything and anything..

I thought it was about time I ditched my usual cropped flares I've been sporting of late, put down my  black denim skinnies and embraced the white flare! I find wearing something oversized like a belted kimono or something with a slight bit of length like a maxi cardigan really pulls the outfit together and makes it more "me"

HOW TO MAKE A FASHION STATEMENT

Fashion Week is fast approaching and it's usually around this time I start to piece my outfits together. I'm all about making a statement which involves being prepared, investing in staples and nailing my trends. One of the first places I head to for statement pieces is H&M, this suedette trench coat being a prime example of why-They truly have hit the 70's nail on the head this season-with an array of real suede fringe jackets, premium quality handbags and great suede imitations. There is a piece for every budget!

I'm thinking of wearing with trench coat buttoned all the way up as a dress, tied at the waist with a pair of mid calf tortoiseshell heels for extra fashion cred. What do you think?

What I'm Wearing; H&M Faux Suede Coat.

MAXI BELL SLEEVE CARDIGAN

We're moving house next month so I'm well over-due a clear out, especially when it comes to my wardrobes. I've been having alittle sort through leaving a vacant spot ready for all the knitwear and cardigans I'm over-due to stock up on. This bell sleeve maxi cardigan is the first item ready to take pride of place in my knitwear collection It also comes in taupe, too. Just look at that sleeve!! I'm 5"3 so maxi is definitely the key word in that sentence, I'd suggest adding a heel if you are my height or short so that you don't drag the cardi on the floor all day.

The weather we are experiencing recently is giving me a hard time when it comes to dressing for the day. (Do I really need to be wearing layers and ankle boots In August?) So I thought photographing this outfit would give you some inspiration for the mornings you simply don't know what to wear.

What I'm Wearing: Missguided Cardigan, (Taupe colour here) Asos Jeans, Missguided T-Shirt, Daniel Footwear Boots, (Similar Here), Asos Scarf, Asos Belt, and Asos Sunglasses

LACE UP PUBLIC DESIRE SANDALS

Who doesn't love a bargain of an outfit? This ensemble in total minus the Celine trio, of course cost me under £100. £76.99 to be exact! Bargain right? The lace up top is an absolute must to nail the 70's trend, and for a meer £22 you'd be silly to miss out. The skirt was actually a Zara sale buy, but this denim patchwork aline midi is an exact match for £28. Just call me the bargain hunter.

Now on to the shoes. I have to admit I wasn't 100% sure on these Julia lace up block heeled sandals at first, but tied around the ankle instead of the calf looks amazing, and super expensive! (White verison here!) If these are up your street then I have an exclusive 15% discount code for Public Desire which is valid from 00.01AM Friday morning until 23.59PM Saturday night. Simply enter the code "FASHIONFIX15" at the check out to receive 15% off. This excludes sale. Enjoy!

BOHO VIBES WITH CHICWISH

You've got to be careful when you order online, whether your product is coming from the UK, US or China I always recommended having a thorougher check of the size guides, shipping times and so on. Even in the UK you can be stung with an XS dress that is definitely not an XS. With that said, Chicwish is a brand I've never had a problem with-I've always had my parcel delivered through my door in under two weeks-pretty impressive right?

As soon as this dress arrived I knew how I would style it. It gives off such a bohemian vibe with it's intricate embroidery-paired with lace up sandals and a fringe bag you wouldn't look out of place at a festival, strolling through the streets of London or simply enjoying a picnic in the park.

You can see how I've styled Chicwish other ways, here and here!

STYLING DENIM CULOTTES

What I'm Wearing: Asos Cami, River Island Culottes, ATP Sandals, Toy Shades Sunglasses, Asos Neckerchief and Celine Bag.

Keeping with the 70's trend, denim is a big staple this season-as well as the flare, we've also got a new silhouette in town. The denim culotte! Don't you worry, culottes aren't going anywhere this season. They're relatively easy to style, much like the black culotte we seem to know and love. (This cross over pair are uh-mazing!) Just like we would with a pair of skinnies, a basic racer front cami or cool breton stripe is the way to go to keeping it casual.

ASYMMETRIC HEMS

The English weather is so unpredictable so I know you won't be surprised to see that I'm wearing knitwear yes, knitwear in August. If I'm completely honest I prefer the colder weather, I just LOVE to layer! (And because it means that I can finally start wearing the coats I've been storing away since last year's sales, ha. Totally not joking.) This Gestuz colour block biker jacket is a steal!

I've gotten so much wear out of these cropped flared jeans since I bought them a few weeks ago. They are now out of stock but these raw hemmed jeans are very similar. I feel like fashion is moving away from the dominant leg lengthening 70's flare and edging towards a kick flared jean-these are my favourite!

What I'm Wearing: Asos Jumper (Similar), Asos Jeans (Similar), Topshop Flats, Asos Sunglasses and YesStyle Bag
