SPORTY VIBES

As soon as I set my eyes on this navy stripe crew neck knit from Dorothy Perkins I knew instantly that I wanted to give off a sporty vibe! (What gives off more than a sporty feel than statement stripe and a pair of crisp white trainers?) Now I know what you're thinking, "it's August, why are you wearing knitwear?" Here me out, this knit is incredibly light, it's almost like wearing a long sleeve jersey tee. And anyway, by slowly adding small amounts of next season peices we are able to transition smoothly into (dare I say it..) Autumn Winter! With this said I've added a couple of my favourite new season pieces at the bottom of this post-be prepared to purchase!

Ive paired this navy crew neck with a simple white denim mini-we've all got one and they're so versatile! This raw hem denim skirt I'm wearing is sadly sold out online so I'd suggest popping into your local for a nosey. The fit is quiet big in size so if you do manage to find one I'd suggest downsizing (which is always a nice feeling!)

Of course it wouldn't be an outfit of mine if I didn't finish my look off with my blonde topknot, a pair of signature sunnies and my beloved Gucci Dionysus!

TWO WAYS TO WEAR EMBROIDERED JEANS

It's safe to say we're all pretty obsession with Gucci at the moment. First we went crazy over the Princetown leather loafer, next came the Dionysus GG supreme shoulder bag and now we're all about the appliqué jeans. As much as I do love a designer purchase, I can't really justify spending an entire wage on an item of clothing. Shoes and bags in my eyes are much more wearable and therefore cost effective in comparison to say, a pair of jeans. So, with you all in mind I've picked my two favourite pairs of embroidered "Gucci inspired" jeans from the high street (and under £50!) and shown you two different ways to wear!

I'd consider my first look to be more eccentric in comparison to my second. Considering we're wearing an extreme bell sleeve top (very much inspired by the row.) And a pair of fluffy loafers (that get me ALL sort of looks as soon as I step out my door.) None the less, the more fashionable of the two.

This look is super easy. Cropped jeans, a relaxed white tee and a pair of white leather trainers-the perfect weekend ensemble if you ask me. If you're worried about walking around in floral and forna embroidered jeans-they're not for the faint hearted.. I'd recommend pairing your denim with basic items, or wardrobe staples as I like to call them.

Which look is your favourite?

COACH AT SELFRIDGES

Coach Edie Turnlock Leather Shopper

Owning designer bags is a luxury in itself, not to mention the bags themselves. Adding another to my collection was a must, and a Coach Bag was at the top of my list. The polished pebbled leather of this Coach Edie turnlock leather shopper is just beautiful! The plump Italian leather, polished turnlock and dress chain handles are effortless and it's not hard to see why the Edie is a top seller. The three-compartment interior is super functional whilst keeping my mess of receipts and lose change organised. (A winner for the self employed!)

Keeping it casual in the city requires a combination of comfort; cropped jeans, silky cami's and an easy shoe; sliding my feet into an open sandal is always a good choice for running around London from meeting to meeting. Accessorizing is key when you're faced with an easy, breezy outfit. Keeping with the monochrome theme, I've tied my hair away from my face in an effortless up-do with a white scarf, and accessoried with my newly beloved Edie Handbag.

You can grab this Coach Edie turn lock leather shopper from Selfridges.

ELLERY INSPIRED LAYERING

If it's an Ellery inspired look you're on the hunt for, then look no further. With the help of the high street - Boohoo to be exact, I have managed to track down the most amazing flute sleeved dress for under a score, with change. Fear not, the layering is indeed optional but key for nailing a high end looking ensemble on a low end budget. Make like Ellery and add a chic flared sleeve shirt (like this one!) underneath your dress for maximum impact! If you're looking to keep casual I'd opt for a crisp white tee to nail the day time chic.

For maximum wear out of this £18 key piece I'd recommend swapping the Gucci Dionysus for a woven straw tote and slipping on a pair of ankle laced espadrilles to take this look away with you on your next long haul adventure. If the black isn't suited to your colour palette then don't worry, this dress also comes in white too!

THE ULTIMATE SUMMER DRESS

I know, it's pretty unusual to see myself in any other colour than a monochrome palette. But hear me out. This dress is £18. Sold? I thought so. The woven border print is beautiful, the open shoulder is sexy and the colour? Uhmazing with a tan!

I actually bought this dress on a whim for my holiday to Dubai back in June but I just wasn't sure it was me as it's super girly. (Something which I am not!) But, paired with a heafty black espadrille and some gold accessories I'm pretty chuffed with the outcome! I'm thinking once our summer (or lack off) turns into Autumn I'll be pairing this dress with a leather biker and a pair of black high top converse.
