STRIPED D RING DETAIL BLOUSE

I recently posted about this d ring blouse over on my Instagram a few weeks back and you all went crazy for it. I can't say I'm surprised, I've gotten so much wear out of it already and being priced at a meer £22 cost per wear doesn't even come into it.. It's a steal. As always I up sized in this blouse-you all know my style well enough by now to know I never purchase my own size! I opted for a size 10 making the blouse slightly longer in the length and more draped across the front. If it's a more snug fit you're after then I'd suggest downsizing. If you're looking to layer up this baby then I'd suggest stackings of jewellery and necklaces, worn over the top of a navy roll neck-both fashionable and weather appropriate!

As always I've styled this blouse with my fail safe pair of DIY cropped flares. Unfortunatley These are out of stock but I've linked a similar pair at the bottom of the page.

If a stripped blouse or something remotely colourful isn't your thing then fret not, Missguided have a massive amount of wrap alternatives which I've linked below.

HOW TO WEAR MESH IN THE DAY

Wearing any form of mesh casually can be an extremely tricky task, especially during the day time-we don't to give off any other kind of impression! I picked up this mesh t-shirt that I'm wearing for a bargain of £8! I think It's safe to say even if you don't get alot of wear out of it it's hardly going to burn a hole in your jeans pocket! I think the key to nailing this trend is to keep it to a minimum of one garment. Try popping on a lace triangle bra underneath and layering it with outerwear like this longline black blazer to keep the amount of visible skin to a minimum, still keeping it classy!

Thinking of taking your mesh tee from day to evening? I'd style it with a pair of front split trousers like this pair from Monki finishing off with a killer studded leather jacket and a leather mid heel sandal. (These are my favourite, perfect for day, too!)

As always every item I'm wearing can be found at the bottom of the page by clicking on the icons which will take your directly to shop.

STYLING A BLACK LONGLINE BOMBER JACKET

Off duty for me is an outfit that requires minimal effort, ease and comfort - this is exactly what I hoped to capture in this all black ensemble! This longline padded bomber has been a staple in my "off duty" wardrobe ever since the postman handed it too me a couple of weeks back. (If it's colour you're after this bomber does come in khaki and in grey.)  I do already own a number of other bomber jackets included a cropped number (see how I styled that here) but the need for a longline version was prominent!

I love the small amounts of details in this jacket including the silver exposed hardware giving the right amount of edginess. Of course I completed my outfit with my staple Baxter Jeans which I bought two sizes bigger for a boyfriend fit, and my pirate black Yeezys go without saying.

EMILIO PUCCI POINT COLLAR SHIRT

Say "Hello" to the latest addition to my ever growing white shirt collection. I have absolutely lived in this flare sleeve shirt (now sale!) so it was fair to say I was well overdue another purchase. Remember two seasons ago we saw shirts as a big trend on the fash pack during fashion week? As well as wearing them backwards, slightly unbuttoned with multiple layered necklaces thrown over our shoulders.. we now wear them asymmetrically. Yes this is happening-with thanks to Emilio Pucci.

This point collar one-shoulder "Poplin Shirt" is doing incredibly well at 1. enhancing my tan, and 2. taking fashion to a whole new level.

Fancy dipping your toe into the trend? If the asymetric sleeve is a little too out of your comfort zone then I'd reccomend checking out this flared sleeve shirt, pairing it with a kick flare cropped jean (This are the jeans I'm wearing in black!) and a pair of the new "IT shoe" the glove.

WIDE LEG SIDE STRIPE TROUSERS

I appologise for my social absense this past week. I've just landed from an amazing week away in Dubai, which if you couldn't tell after my 4th visit in 3 years, is my favourite holiday destination! Having a well deserved break away from everything work has put my mind in a better place. I'm feeling more motivated and actually looking forward to photographing content for you all. You know by now our job isn't the normal 9-5.. it is literally a 24/7, 7 days a week, 52 weeks a year.. you get the drift. Shutting off is hard! If I'm not photographing outfits, im dreaming them in my sleep, arranging my breakfast for an instagram shot or simply trowling the net for bargains. I think my holiday has made me realised I need to be more organsed. Organisation will allow me to shut off at certain times as I know my content is going live even when im busy having me time.

Anyway, I'm back and I'm not going anywhere this time!

This look is one of my lasts from New York fashion week which feels like such a long time ago now! As the week got progressivly warmer we were able to leave the thermals in our hotel room and dress relativtly fashion-y without freezing the death. That doesn't mean I ditched the layering completely. I love wearing this shirt under bascially everything! The cuffs look amazing, even under a basic grey sweat. These wide leg joggers are totally me, paired with the classic black pair of old skool vans. If you couldn't tell I've turned my liking to dressing down recenty. I'm such a trainer girl!
