ACCESSORISING THE RIGHT WAY

Accessorising is the key for making your outfit stand out. Anyone can pop into Zara and put a head to toe look together in an instant. But, accessorise with the right shoe and the perfect hand bag and you are well on your way to a winning outfit!

How do I accessorise? It's easy-less is more, but this was my way of thinking when I got dressed. As my dress is nude we're able to wear any colour. With any outfit I instantly reach for my Celine Caty sunglasses which are black, so I match my sunglasses with a black shoe and bag. There isn't a day where I don't wear my gold Missoma jewellery, which works perfectly for me as the detailing on my bag and shoes are gold!

The outfit.

THE dress. I actually picked this up a good few weeks ago in H&M but returned it as I saw it as more of an occasion dress rather than a day to day. Until I purchases these dreamy leather loafers. I popped in to see the girls in the H&M show room and gave this dress another go for fashion week. THE DREAM. I actually sported this look with a bralet over the top with large fishnet tights which you can see here. Don't be afraid of rewearing your outfits, I hate to waste a good outfit.

I love gold jewellery as you can tell! My Missoma large horn necklace is practically chained to my neck! I picked up this gold pair of fan shaped earrings recently and I've probably worn them consecutivly for the past week, but can you blame me? They add the right amount of statement to a white tee and jeans without being too glamorous.

It may sound like there's alot of pressure to accessorise, but really, there isn't! As long as you feel confortable in what you've put on that day, then your confidence is your accessory.

SWAPING YOUR WHITE TEE FOR PINK

Essentially, it's one of the easiest trends to ever enter our wardrobe. Pink-who would of thought it? A simple injection of colour to our basic, every day ensembles. Now, the colour. We're not talking hot, fuschia or coral, we're talking blush, baby and bubblegum. I've found the perfect shade of pink here, and it's on sale! (I'm wearing a large, if you're wondering on fit.)

Now, how are you going to wear your new shade? Edge yourself in with your staples-your most comofortale peices. A pair of light wash denim like these (The sizing is pretty large so I'd suggest down sizing! I've actually snipped at the hem to make the fit more cropped.) Or a pair of cut offs like these, or an aline mini like this. Finish off with a pair of vans/converse or make like me and invest in a good old pair of leather loafers-THESE are to die for!

STYLING A TEA DRESS IN AUTUMN

Just as the UK decides to finally heat itself up, before we know it we've edged quickly into Autumn. September! Pardon, since when? It seems as quickly as I've brought out my Summer wardrobe I'm already layering it up with my Winter wardrobe, how typical.

Never-the-less we want to grab hold of Summer with both hands and hang on to our lighter layers for as long as possible. *Insert tea dress here*. I was kindly gifted a Forever 21 voucher a couple of weeks back and I couldn't wait to stock up on their dresses-something I love them for. (What's not to love at £16 a pop?)

I eagerly awaited for this floral print a-line dress to arrive, and of course as soon as it arrived it quickly went out of stock-sorry about that! I'd encourage you to pop into your local to hunt it down (it's worth it!) The fit is lovely, although quiet short, and I'm 5"3 so do bare that in mind before purchasing. The open back is beautiful and it really does add a little something to this basic printed jersey.

Transitioning into Autumn couldn't be easier. Layering, duh. Make like myself and add an oversized knit on top of your dress for a laid back "Oh this? I just chucked it on" look. Or get ahead of the game and layer a white shirt or cream polo neck underneath to score yourself some serious fashion points.

WALLIS DEMI SIDE ZIP JEANS

"Jeans are the ultimate wardrobe staple whether you’re out for dinner, at work or relaxing at the weekend jeans play a part so it’s important you find your dream denim. We’ve redesigned our range and given them names to make it easier for you to find your go-to."

Denim is a staple piece in any one's wardrobe - I for one simply can't live without it, it's part of my daily routine. Whether you are wearing skinny jeans with white tee's, cropped jeans with slouchy knits or bootcut jeans with slinky cami's, denim is there for every occasion.

Trying and testing denim is something I love to do and it's amazing what a good pair of jeans can do for your confidence!

9 times out of 10 my weekend wardrobe involved a pair of jeans (even if it is just slouching around on the sofa all day..) So it's important for my denim to be easy to move in with little bit of give. The new Demi Side Zip Jean from Wallis' new Denim Studio are quite frankly a dream to wear. They're actually a jegging so they are a lot thinner than denim making them very relaxed, not to mention super comfy! They feature a clean waistband with a silver side zip fastening which makes them perfect for layering.
