Creating a warm, welcoming and inviting space can be tricky. I've scoured Pinterest for hours, pinned inspiration to boards and gotten reality excited to decorate a new space. I've chosen my paint-a really cool slate grey with a tint of navy you'll only see in certain lights. I've built and restored my furinture-giving the room a little re-gig to maximize the space, and I've spent a small fortune on small furnishings-a mix of patterns and colours in the form of rugs and cushions has really turned the dull and unwelcoming space into a homely environment.

A suit, or a "Desk Set" as it may be called lives a healthy life in my wardrobe. It's as much a staple as a pair of jeans or a leather jacket, and I can guarantee that you and I own at least one piece.

The newest addition to my working wardrobe is from GANT as part of the diamond G collection. It's modern, tailor-made and shirt-centric. Popping on heels, ditching the shirt and buttoning up the blazer is a perfect way of dressing up the same suit for the evening - a space saver when travelling!
