As we delve deeper into Winter it's about this time that I make use of every piece of outerwear I own. I've racked up an impressive amount of coats since last year, August is when I purchased my first, to be exact. I mean what better time to grab a bargain than looking in the Summer sales for Winter pieces!? This khaki parka jacket is my latest addition to my ever growing collection. Never have I owned one before being the fact that I've been very cautious to stay away from looking like a 16 year old on my way home from school, if you get my drift..
The parka has a relaxed and 'chilled' vibe to it, so obviously the rest of getting dressed had to match the same description-boyfriend jeans and a cropped knit was a dead certain. Vans seemed to fit the bill too.
If you're wondering I went for this jacket in a size 10 as the fit is described as cropped, you know my style by now so I had to go for a larger fit bringing the jacket down a little lower. I'm not a cropped kind of girl so I always recommend in up sizing and wearing a larger knit to balance out the fit.
What do you think, have I succumbed to the teenage vibe?

You look amazing!! So effortlessly put together. And that bag!! So much inspo right now, though I don't own a parka or anything near as stylish as you're sporting here. Love your blog; your photos are amazing and you have the perfect ratio of pictures to text. LOVE
