STYLING A TEA DRESS IN AUTUMN

Just as the UK decides to finally heat itself up, before we know it we've edged quickly into Autumn. September! Pardon, since when? It seems as quickly as I've brought out my Summer wardrobe I'm already layering it up with my Winter wardrobe, how typical.

Never-the-less we want to grab hold of Summer with both hands and hang on to our lighter layers for as long as possible. *Insert tea dress here*. I was kindly gifted a Forever 21 voucher a couple of weeks back and I couldn't wait to stock up on their dresses-something I love them for. (What's not to love at £16 a pop?)

I eagerly awaited for this floral print a-line dress to arrive, and of course as soon as it arrived it quickly went out of stock-sorry about that! I'd encourage you to pop into your local to hunt it down (it's worth it!) The fit is lovely, although quiet short, and I'm 5"3 so do bare that in mind before purchasing. The open back is beautiful and it really does add a little something to this basic printed jersey.

Transitioning into Autumn couldn't be easier. Layering, duh. Make like myself and add an oversized knit on top of your dress for a laid back "Oh this? I just chucked it on" look. Or get ahead of the game and layer a white shirt or cream polo neck underneath to score yourself some serious fashion points.

  5. That dress is lovely but I'm thinking it would be more of a top on me given how short it is! I'm also trying to hold on to summer by adding jumpers to dresses and skirt, comes back sun
