DAY TO NIGHT IN LA REDOUTE

It's November; it's cold, it's windy.. and it's cold, again. If your outfit didn't consist of a coat and a large piece of knitwear in these Winter months I'd have to question your sanity-My fingers and toes are permanantly cold. I enjoy Winter so much, not for the Weather but for the opportunity to experiment with my layering. Pop a long sleeve breton tee underneath a navy fishermans knit (sleeves rolled up to show the detail) layered with a structured and belted jacket. Or perhaps a cropped statement herringbone coat over the top of a thick black cashmere roll-neck? Either way the more layered the better-the less chance of catching a cold!

Slipping into a patent mary-jane, sipping on a glass of bubbly, picking up my personalised bauble in a polka dot dress. Isn't usually how I'd see my evenings pan out-the glass of bubbly however is extremely accurate. I like to see myself as a bit of a boy when it comes to dressing up. Belt me a blazer and shove me in a pair of cropped cigarette pants and you've put me in my dream outfit. But.. as we're speeding into Christmas' pathway quicker than I'd like to admit, what better way to experiment than with a glass of chilled champagne sifting through the rails of clothing at your first 'crimbo' party?
