Oh my love for basics. So easy to get right, and ever so easy to wear. What's not to love when your uniform consists of jeans, tee's and a trusty pair of your favourite trainers?
Do you ever have those mornings when you can't for the life of you string a sentance together, let alone an outfit? Que basics. When I know I've got a busy day ahead of me I'll reach for my favourite pair of jeans which are my Levi's which I purchased from the Urban Renewal section in Urban Outfitters. They're comfy, they fit perfectly and they go with every single item in my wardrobe! Next I'll chose a cotton tee; plain, logo'd.. striped, whichever I chose I know it's a safe bet. Lastly? Footwear. A day of meetings in the hustle and bustle of London is not heel friendly.. so on the trainers go. Superga, Converse or Vans? Whichever I chose I know I'm already on to a winner.
So, to sum up the above-invest in basics. They're easy, wearable and a lifesaver when you're strapped for time.
