WHAT I WORE DURING LONDON FASHION WEEK

I can't quiet believe how quickly London Fashion Week has approached us this Season let along Autumn, the Season itself. As we're taken aback by tiered maxi dresses and hand painted florals we're slowly gearing up for a lesson in layering as the Weather starts to get colder. Nether-the-less Fashion Week it's something we highly antispiate and I throughly enjoy crafting ideas for the warmer climates.
The Clothes

I love to plan my outfits. I'm a proper planner in the respect that I like to be organised, have every outfit planned for every single day laid out the night before so that when I go to bed I know my bedroom / hotel room won't be swimming in clothes come morning.

If you're a regular follower of my Instagram account you'll know I've been pretty obsessed with anything checked at the moment, in particular the blazer-I've racked up an impressive collection these past few weeks. I just love how they look when worn with a slogan tee and distressed jean.

Chunky knitwear is something I'm slowly starting the collect. I know we're well into September now and therefore should be fully embracing those knitted garments!

The Accessories

Well it's Fashion Week after all, so the accessories have got to be statement.

To make sure I'm on time for each show and presentation I can't leave without a watch. What better to grace my wrist over fashion month than a timeless Gucci watch from The Watch Gallery. With a black statement lizard strap, an intricate moonlit scene with a beautiful array of vibrant planets and shooting stars this peice adds a sutble hint of colour to my cuffs.

I'm a big fan of mixing my jewellery tones, whether it be gold and silver or adding in a hint of rose gold to the mix! At the moment I'm loving layering dainty gold necklaces together.

Hair and Makeup

The way I apply my makeup and style my hair for Fashion Week never really differs to "day to day me." Apart from the addition of a red lip..

Although I felt so inspired to try different looks and techniques this season to apply going forward. At Roberta Einer S/S18 the head stylist created effortless, Californian skater girl styles that embraced natural texture. (This is something that is so simple and so easy for me to achieve at home using a volumizing tonic for extra texture at the roots!)
